Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for operational excellence?
For this newly created role, We are seeking an experienced National Warehouse Facilities & Services Manager to provide leadership through influence & negotiation, be responsible for the strategic and operational management of facilities and assets across national distribution centers.
This role exists to ensure infrastructure reliability, regulatory compliance, cost-effective maintenance, and consistent operational standards. By overseeing preventative maintenance, vendor performance and projects, the role supports long-term asset longevity, operational efficiency, and alignment with the organization's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilities & Asset Management - Oversight of DC infrastructure, equipment, and MHE to ensure operational efficiency and asset longevity.
- Preventative Maintenance & Compliance - Implementation of proactive maintenance programs and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Contract & Vendor Management - Sourcing, negotiating, and managing service providers to deliver cost-effective, high-quality services.
- Budget & Cost Control - Managing national R&M budgets and cost centers with a focus on financial efficiency and forecasting.
- Operational Standardisation - Driving consistency in maintenance and operational processes across all national sites.
- Project & Change Management - Leading facility upgrades, renovations, and supporting change initiatives aligned with strategic plans.
- Data Analysis & Reporting - Consolidating performance data, generating reports, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Accountabilities
- Promote and participate in the Safety Management System and develop a proactive safety culture.
- Be a role model for working safely and promoting a safe working environment.
- Adhere to safe work procedures and systems in consultation with elected OH&S Representatives and team members.
- Proactively contribute to the identification and resolution of workplace hazards.
- Review & manage JSA/ SWMS for all contracted works
- Follow Lactalis permit to work systems covering hot works, working at heights, confined space and excavation.
- Make sure all contractors coming to site setup a Linksafe company profile with up to date insurance documents and each worker’s online inductions are up to date.
- Comply with all relevant environmental legislative requirements.
- Actively contribute to reducing waste, conserving water and energy and other sustainability initiatives.
- Comply with environmental & trade waste management systems.
- Actively participate in understanding your environmental responsibilities.

About You
- Extensive experience in warehousing, distribution or logistics environment - Facilities & Asset Management/PMP compliance
- Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Manager or Business-related field is preferred
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate employees.
- FMCG related Logistics experience at national level.
